Reviewed by Terry M. of Roselle of IL USA on Jun-2007 Stayed at the Property - Jun-2007 Location is their best feature. Neighborhood was quiet & safe. Walked everywhere. Five minute walk to the North End, ten minutes to Fanueil Hall. T is around the corner. Sports bars/pubs 2 blocks away. Room was immaculate w/all the amenities needed. Qell run, superb personalized service by the staff who went out of their way to take care of whatever we needed. Small/cozy, but bright and modern. Will stay there again. |

Reviewed by Diane R. of MA USA on Apr-2007 Stayed at the Property - Apr-2007 We go to Boston on a pretty regular basis and this is the first time staying at the Onyx. We were very happy. Great location, very clean, nice rooms. The staff was extremely professional and nice. Lots of good places to eat, short walk to the North End, Fanieul Hall, Boston Common, etc. The Ruby room was a nice place to relax. No complaints. |

Reviewed by Jennifer W. of New York of NY on Jan-2007 Stayed at the Property - Dec-2006 The Onyx is a really beautiful hotel with funky decorations and a very helpful and friendly staff. I would definitely stay there again except that the location is in a terrible neighborhood. There isn't much around to do and there are no restuarants nearby other than the 7-11 and an Au Bon Pain. There is a subway stop at North Station only 2 blocks away, but the neighborhood is pretty seedy at night if you're by yourself. |
