This hotel is very, very clean and well put together. The hotel staff were great and very knowledgeable. PERFECT LOCATION FOR PARTYING ON 6TH STREET...JUST A BLOCK AWAY! The only bad expierence was the food. The breakfast buffet was horrible and VERY overpriced. I was $17.99/person for breakfast, that's ridiculous! The pancakes were like eating rubber and the coffee was awful, not a good combination in the morning! Then we get the bill and with our drinks and food, the bill was $32.00 for 2 people to eat breakfast! Also, parking was $15.00 to park overnite, little to much for single people!

Pros: VERY CLEAN
Cons: the food

Children's menu is more akin to fast food dining. Some fruit and vegetables on the plate would aid in appearance. I had a tasteless shrimp salad. A little spice on the shrimp would help. And as the rooms go, the beds were too small. Not a place for families

The Hilton Austin was great. From the valets to the receptionist to room service, all were excellent. The rooms were so clean. I loved the shampoo and conditioner so much that they provided that I ordered some when I got back home.

Excellent service from check in to check out. We had requested room with 2 queen size beds but were given 2 Doubles. Everything worked out but it was a little inconvenient. Just across the street from the Convention Centre which was perfect.

Pleasant, helpful staff; great bedding/towels; comfortable beds; attractive room; convenient location; nice view; attentive meeting staff; large meeting rooms; great pool area. Downside - pricey parking and in-hotel eating very expensive. Also, parking garage is comically cramped and narrow. Even small cars can't pull in straight in one try. Overall, a terrific stay, and will go again.

Pros: bedding, service
Cons: parking garage

We stayed in Austin New Years Eve and enjoyed the First Night festivities. Hotel location is great for 6th street restaurants and festivities. Bed was so comfortable and bath products were wonderful. Hotel staff was great. We were awakened at 2 am for a fire emergency and did not get back to bed till 4 which was difficult but a necessity. We parked on the street for free, hotel parking is $15-$20. We overlooked a rooftop but the city was in the distance. Room was nice but internet was $10.

Pros: We loved the bed and bath products.
Cons: parking price needs to be lower
