The place smelled and looked new, and the for the price it was excellent. Highly recommended as an alternative to the high-priced hotels near York beach, as it's only a 3-5 minute drive away. Would stay there again.

Reviewed by tina r. of manchester of nh usa on Jul-2007 Stayed at the Property - Jul-2007 I stayed at this hotel this july. all the rooms were newly renovated. my kids loved their pool. the best thing was that they had a business center which was free to use. i could check my emails, weather, nearby restaurants etc. i understand that the hotel is under new ownership since january this year and i can say that they have done a great job. i will definately stay at this hotel when i am in the area. I already have a reservation with them for this august.

I was traveling with my husband and 6 month old. The room and grounds were all upgraded and clean, new carpeting, furniture, comfortable beds, new paint, new refrigerator in room etc. Still under a little construction but not very obvious. Grounds were nice and ample parking. One draw back no elevator but only 2 floors. Close to all the attractions and the price was ideal.

I learned that the owners are upgrading the rooms and for the lowest rate I had a recently upgraded room. The room was very well appointed, and my stay was very comfortable--I stayed the duration, nearly a week. I had to overlook the construction that was going on, but I felt that was a very good sign. Very friendly, helpful, and ambitious couple are making this place work and they will succeed. Would I stay there again? Definitely!
