Overall this hotel was nice and clean. A good place to stay near the riverwalk esp if you are on a budget. It took about 5 minutes from the hotel to get to the riverwalk. The only downfall is that you have to pay 16 to park in the hotel parking lot or pay 6 to park in a lot across the street. The building is interesting, it is in a old jail from the early 1900s. The building was remodeled extensively. I loved the bathrooms, with beautiful granite countertops on the sinks and granite floors.

This hotel was great. The old historic building is really neat to look. Rooms were very clean and nice. Customer Service was great! Very friendly and helpful with directions. We stayed here for a BMT graduation. Short drive from the airport and to Lackland, very easy to find. Very convenient to the Riverwalk only about 5 minutes. Parking was not great, but I didnt even have to pay to park across the street. Maybe because we prepaid? Overall, I think this was a great choice and would stay there agian.

Well done renovation to a new hotel. Room had great beds, huge bathroom, refrigerator, microwave etc... room was very spacious with two queens in it.

Pros: Historic building
Cons: Breakfast area was too small and noisey

This building was a former prison, but you can't tell once your inside. There are still bars on the windows. The rooms are decorated beautifully. The lobby and breakfast area are clean and inviting.

Pros: granite countertops
Cons: parking

This hotel was great. The old historic building is really neat to look. Rooms were very clean and nice. Customer Service was great! Very friendly and helpful with directions. We stayed here for a BMT graduation. Short drive from the airport and to Lackland, very easy to find. Very convenient to the Riverwalk only about 5 minutes. Parking was not great, but I didnt even have to pay to park across the street. Maybe because we prepaid? Overall, I think this was a great choice and would stay there agian.

The hotel was very quiet and peaceful. we checked in with no problem. we checked out with no problem. the staff was very polite and friendly, but the reserved parking was a bad thing. they have about 10 reserved spaces, and it's a very tight place to park. we were in space 1 all the way at the end, and two big ford f250 we parked next to us, let just say we were late to dinner trying get get our car out of our parking spot. that's my only complaint about this hotel. Everything else was GREAT!
